Some sample pages from the guitarist/composer H. Teddy Crawford's series "Guitarspeak No.3 & 4" respectively. As you can see there are a great many extra-musical details, relating to various guitar techniques amd performance instructions. The addition of these elements into the score took a great deal of time and consideration. In many ways, these were some of the most challenging pages I've had to render yet, in terms of legibilty, and therefore some of the most satisyfying. I feel the page balances nicely overall, but more importantly, none of the crucial information is over-crowded and thereby, very clear and accessible to the eye.
