The first two pages of the hit song "I Want It That Way" as recorded by The Back Street Boys. I was contaced by Warner Bros. Music of Miami, Fla. to produce a simple sheet music arrangement of the pop tune from a recording they provided for me. This is a portion of the transcription that followed, for voice and piano with chord symbols as well as fretboard diagrams. The most difficult aspect of this assignment was discerning the different singers' voices in their harmony settings. Since all the members sing in more or less the same tessitura, with the same character, their voices tend to homogenize; voice-crossing also made the vocal lines similarly difficult to isolate.
